Keep the ending of an era!

We are learning to slow down, learning to smell the roses, learning to see life as the gift it is. Our patience for loud is limited. Patience too for attention or people whose only purpose is to seek attention is equally limited. Ambitious people move me. Attention seekers reduce me. So I’m moving past attention, in search only for ambition.

The past week in Nigeria kept me reflecting on so many things. One, how you begin is never how you end. So be ambitious. Two, people will be people, let them be and stay far from their attention. Three, we will never be able to carry everyone so find those that are ambitious, even if one, keep them close. Four, grace is sufficient especially for those driven. So keep being grateful.

Also, if this is how we begin to slow down, if this is the end of a chapter that began in a police field with little or no resources and ends at the top most space one could ever imagine, all within the same city, then we have done our part. I will forever be grateful and thankful for all that made the journey here sublime. Some, I truly wish you well, others, well forgive me, I am only human. The rest, it’s been quite a journey and I pray that this movement we began, with crowdsourcing and all, take you all from Lagos to the world. Keep this ending of an era…
