In bell hooks “all about love” she noted that love is about letting our heart speak. It’s about being redeemed and restored to the promise of everlasting life. She wrote about love to bear witness to its promise, its grace, its clarity, its justice, its honesty, its commitment, its spirituality, its values, its vision. Love’s redeeming power lies with the communities we keep, the togetherness we seek, the sweetness, the loss, but the healing power and destiny that belongs to those who choose it wholeheartedly. Yesterday we encountered this restorative power of love, one where by his stripes we are made whole. We left the session, feeling different, feeling light, knowing too, that the one who first loved us, goes always ahead before us. Keep this love.
