Keep your light and the red earth!

Some of us lose track of our inner light, the silent hymns or prayers that guide us. Water rouses us to speak the truth, to shame the devil, to offer small amens for moments of self-forgiveness, and to resist the urge to curse those who are different from us. So, we wander through life, riding hailstorms as if they were songbirds, forgetting that there are no eternal lives, only eternal liveliness for those who choose to rise above everything else, those who remember that the sands of the earth are red.

When we see things lush and red, we perceive life. As we embark on this new year, we are filled with optimism and hope, envisioning a future filled with positive experiences, much like the vibrant and lively sands of a village and its masquerade.
