When will you have a pity for every soft thing that walks through the world including yourself? These words by Mary Oliver forced me to begin this note that I didn’t want to write. Some things have walked through this life, through some chapters that left me saying it’s better for the heart to break than not to break. At least you know the depths of you, you know your soul’s notes, you know the people to avoid, you know the way your light shines, you see how somethings tried but failed, and you know the root of this life. If the first half of life has being about building containers, building foundations, so they stand, this next half of life, will require you to only put what matters into the container.
