Writing with Juliet Iwelunmor

I sat in a room that left me speechless yesterday. Also inspired. The theme was Africa rising and my ears and heart were in awe. They are still ringing and full of ideas even as we write this that I had to say a special thank you to the one who saw me enough to say there is a room you should be in and yes you are my invited guest. That singular act, yesterday may have changed my life for good. If I didn’t know what seeing good truly means before yesterday, I left with a heart that knows and we are ready. The longest journey you will ever take is from your head to your heart and my head has led me so far of which I’m grateful. The heart phase is beginning and what it seeks to do can only be done with grace and a heavy dose of patience. We are ready.
