Some friendships age like fine wine. Life may get in the way, but every connecting and reconnecting rekindles life like it never missed a bit. I spent sometime in the presence of a sister from another mother. We walked miles, laughed long, held silent games with some noisemakers and then ate ice cream that made our bellies full. Only it wasn’t just our bellies, the soles of our feet, the follicles on our hair, every the air we breathed seemed so full that it can only be God. Our lives maybe have moved in opposite circles, distance have moved us to opposite places, yet when time and space brought us together, it was as if we were only apart for a day, continuing like we saw each other last yesterday. Find and keep friends who know what makes your heart beat, meet with them too from time to time. They will remind of why God is God, remind you too that you are supposed to be where you are, revealing his glory clearly for all to see.
