I only have one question for the present state of affairs with global health: where is the love? How do we love, not just ourselves and our work, but those of others, even if means loving the enemy as they work to end all we love. So where is the love and how do you cultivate it in these times, where it would seem we would rather hurt those different than us, those weaker or smaller than us rather than cultivate the love in us like a rose buried deep with any root. So for today and in the words of June Jordan, with global health, where is the love and how can we keep it it’s heartbeat growing stronger and stronger now more than ever.
