Writing with Juliet Iwelunmor

These days I’m learning that even leaves on the ground have invisible wounds that are always shared with strangers. So too the words within us. They reveal us. To write increases the revelation shapes our actions. I am learning  that words carry the joy, the sorrow, yet still the optimism of every writer. However tall a tree maybe, it can never prevent the sun from shining. So too are words. They sustain the passion within if only we look, listen and let them breathe and stay alert on their own. We write then out of necessity, out of a desire and maybe out of despair, for a life that cannot be lived fully unless the words within find a life of their own.
