Keep Onyelo!

I tell a story of a name, Onyelo always for four reasons. First the meaning. Second, the memory, third, the meditation, fourth to be naked. When I’m done, I remember why stories matter. Ben Okri would say for several reasons including this two things: Good stories raise consciousness, lifts hearts. They also point a way, force us to meditate on them, as we extract a wisdom so timeless, lessons so effortless, that they can only be used as guides, to our true secret destiny. Onyelo will always be my destiny and if you know its meaning, keep its memories, meditate on its fragments, hidden paths, like on a road which curves and bends, then you will understand why I am forever naked.

Keep your names!

As Ben Okri would note, we are never more naked than in our stories…
