Writing with Juliet Iwelunmor

Days have minds of their own. Some days I’ll sit and listen as children sing, play, fight, then sing again. Other days, I’ll watch as they live peacefully, teaching the power of love, with blankets draped around their bodies. These days even as we wear this shadow called life, I hope to always to watch, listen, and maybe learn all about love, from these minds little and divine. 

The past couple of days have me in bed with legs propped up for healing. We recently spent time in the hospital, and we are praying still for healing, but grateful that those I call my own, are showering me with love now more than ever. I’m learning that life is precious, tomorrow is a gift, but for today live and live in love, especially with those who see you in love.
