Keep boldly facing death!

Nearly half of our lives are gone. Most of all we will do have been done. There may be new dreams, new deeds, new actions, many inactions, but most of what we would call life is close to being done. So what remains. They realization that we can’t be troubled. The end is death. It’s inevitable. We could either fear or choose to face death boldly. We have few days and full trouble still. Dreams will come and fade like flowers that wither away. Trees have hope. Even if cut down, at least they were once trees. Roots too have hope. Even if old, pour water, and they will rise. We die. That is life. We do language. That is forever. This journey. This eternity. This everything in between.

Sending our deepest condolences to the Okororafor family. As you begin to lay your dad to rest, remember because he lived, you do and through you his legacy lives on. 86 years is a gift. Treasure all the memories and may his soul rest in peace amen.
