You were more than an icon, a muse, a storyteller, a dreamer who reminded us why love would keep us all together, why God should bless our mothers and truly the power of bringing people together. I still vividly remember your songs blasting in our home as a child. You personified your name in ways that inspire for who is greater than God, no one and not even you that you lived a life reminding all of us of his infinite blessings. Legends never die but the live one and through your songs and lyrics you will live on and live on even as we pray you rest in peace amen. Golden voice.
