When life is your friend, not your enemy or your nemesis, when you live in profound trust of the synergies within this one life you live, then you will surrender to life. You will surrender as you begin to feel life like you see death, as one wholesome entity you experience together. One you love, you live through despite the tears found in pain, or the struggle you experience with life. You will absorb both, as you see the joy in living, in dying to life. In this act of surrender, whether as life begins or end, it will help you stand anything, face anyone, bear anyplace, and love anytime, when you live as if born on a Christmas Day.

Perhaps this is why we celebrate today, celebrate how we cling to those we call our own, open up to them in a kind of care and tenderness, that emanates from the smiles we see when we open up the gifts we bring to ourselves. Life to me is seen in simple moments like love we see in the eyes of those we love. For them, we will stand anything, face anyone, bear anyplace, love anytime we discover the meaning of life as you gift yourself and then, the experience of life. What is lived deeply is securely one’s own and nothing can ever take it away, not when life insists on living and living. Just like the day we celebrate the one who gifts all life.

I am in a space where only the experience of life will do. I gift it to all of you who take the time to read anything I write here. I pray you experience life, not as something you fear or dread, but as a gift wrapped up with tenderness and care just for you. Life loves you. If you surrender, it will help you stand anything, face anyone, bear anyplace, and love anytime you experience the joy of living of the gift of dying to life.
