That she lived till she was 90 years old isn’t the issue. It’s that she lived. She lived as the longest serving. She lived leading. She lived courageously. She lived vividly. Our lives are long. Our lives are short. Who we are will spread and spread and life maybe vivid and full, so long as we live. One day, our time will be up, and when it comes, may those who mourn, remember all the ways we lived. Rest in Peace Senator Feinstein.
