Keep new beginnings!

The art of beginning. The terror and wonder of it. The wound it uncovers. The light it brings. Those who specialize in beginnings. All who worship at its miracle and dazzle at its droplets, earn my praise these days. They are like children swaying on crooked pine trees unafraid of what a fall may bring. They walk around laughing wild as they race through all things as if on a game of hide and seek. There are no moments of sadness within. Growth comes from within. Only a drink from the sun or a dance with the moon will do. I would love to indulge in their love and blessings for all things that make them begin anew. But these days my skin absorbs the reign of new growth spiraling into my heart. Beginnings force us to stand erect too. In the end, they remind us, of how things are different this time. People too are different. We only need to ask, and we will receive. Seek too, and we will find. No need to rely on one or old things, when a legion is on the journey with us and everyone is as sterling as the next. We have never been so high on the hurdles and growth new beginnings bring. Those that help us remember that dreaming alone, will save us, are the reasons why we choose to begin and begin again. Keep new beginnings.

I forgot I was in a new institution this past week. I found myself recoiling back to the old ways as if times have not changed. Then I snapped out and remembered, we have changed. I asked for help and it came in ways I can’t fully described. A legion of people descended and helped to usher me to a moment where I am grateful and thankful for beginning again. We are surrounding our table with the right people. Some are quite simply stunning. Others have know pain and some bring vision that is impeccable. The circle we will indeed be small and together we will soar. Toni Morrison once noted that to fly, you have got to release all the things that weigh you down. I am doing so and will continue to do so, until I get to the zenith. Thank you to all the people I spoke to today and this week that made me realize why new beginnings are worth it. The dream team is almost ready for their debut.
