We met one sunny afternoon, to speak of dreaming and reimagining, ways to implement under 3 minutes, with words that first come to mind, in any format, with any tools.
Some wrote odes, others wrote haikus, all of us delighted in the process, with words that showed us how to connect, whether feasible or acceptable, to that thing we hoped to do.
I am keeping this here, to remember always, how we connect, not only in theories, or models, or frameworks alone, not only with strategies or outcomes alone, not only with mechanisms or rigorous hybrid designs alone, but through language that begin like this:
Dear Re-Aim, you always aim higher, you don’t cause pain because you aim to serve the vulnerable, you reach for the unreached, you bring effectiveness, you adopt those who don’t belong, you help them implement what work and you teach them to maintain their love for the unreached.
Dear Re-Aim, we will re-aim even here in St. Louis to a better world, for a better world.
Dear CFIR, how we choose you is a blur, the more we know, the more we get entangled in you, maybe we should try something new.
Dear CFIR, you are useful and practical, tiring but popular, but where are the unheard voices.
Dear Implementation Science, We are here, to simplify complex things with evidence, worthy of being simple, for those unheard voices. We are here to open a space, a door, for our communities, our families, with tools for all citizens, like us. We are here.

Dedicated too all those that made this year’s HIGH-IRI a sterling experience.
