Keep this Rest!

Some people want to know when it all happened? Truth is if you have been following my blog you would have seen why proverbs are the palm oil with which words are eaten. I have been intentional with using this space to reflect on my life in academia as well as my parenting. Nothing is ever as it seems. You always have to have a strategy and of course read between the lines. I learnt that one from my extraordinary mentor. I see it with my children always. Parenting is hard. Academia too. But have a plan, a goal, anything that will make it all worthwhile for you and keep something, anything along the way.

When you are asking for support and it is punted over. Don’t take it personal, have another strategy. To many it may seem like I have no idea what I am doing. I agree. Though, another reminder, Afam bu Isioma, Nnem bu Onyelo. We know who we belong to. We have always known. I don’t take any decision people have to make for themselves personal. It may sting as all things do. But please to each his own. It has taken almost a full year to get to here. We tried to bring along all the folks we could. Everyone had to make the decision for themselves of which I respect. Everyone will still have to make decisions for themselves but as for me and myself, welcome to the most dreamiest phase of my life where only REST for Public Health is allowed.
