Keep knowing failure leads to your superpower!

This is about failure. A reminder that it fortifies growth. Those focused on success or places far, the ideas just outside the box and with no path to funding. Those that force us to arise or learn to trust. All the ways we seek for real knowledge not whittled down by requirements. All things focused on reality as in real world places with their chaos and mess. The never ending chorus of not being funded this time or not resubmitting either, who understands what it means to fail more than to succeed, to write and wait, just to fail and fail, yet see how we stand and barely push ideas that rarely move beyond the first round of reviews. Always, always, there will be those that never make it, those you will never hear about or see or even know, yet every time we fail, we get closer to our superpower.

In the last three weeks, three grants my team and I wrote this Spring have failed. One occurred just this morning, another on Thursday and another while I was on vacation. I always say failure is an option and of course it stings every time we fail but I am also learning that it is bringing me close to my superpower and for that I say, bring on failures. I am a grant writer and I always fail.
