Igbo people have a saying, that when a little pot is underrated, it boils over and extinguishes the fire. Not too long ago, I watched as people looked down on me and my mentor. Granted we are different. You can never tell what we are capable of. And proverbs are the palm oil within which words are eaten. This is why those who tell stories lead the way. My greatest concern isn’t that we were looked down on. But that I look on to tell the story of all the ways, we will boil over, like the little pot we are.
