Keep the life lessons of death!

On this Juneteenth day, we saw death today. Seeing the last drops of life, the grave closing in, kept us thinking about this journey through life. Will we reach the end with pride, whisper sweet nothings in the end. However you chose to go: so long Jackie. From your last thoughts to your last words. Last sigh to last sight. If still you hear. So long. However you choose to go, hope we meet again.

To see death up close. To feel it’s sting, know it’s voice, watch it’s sigh, keeps me focused on life. Nothing frustrates me. Nothing. Not when you have seen death and know how each day is precious. To see Jackie in this moment of her life is to know why living matters. The hope it brings too. Don’t know when we will meet again, but know that you are so loved and we wish you well as you begin to crossover.
